Chapman University Community,

Great news! The beta.chapman.edu site has been running since March 8, and we’re ready to share it with you now! Take a stroll through the site and send us your input, suggestions, and catches before the site goes live to the world.

This site, even in its beta form, represents months of effort by hundreds of campus representatives. I cannot begin to thank everyone enough for their involvement, perseverance and contributions. It looks great, and we’re already getting positive comments from those who’ve been sneaking peeks. You all deserve a huge pat on the back for a job well done.

Well, almost done. At this point, we’re eager to get feedback and corrections as we make that final push to the finish line.

Next Steps:
  • Between March 8 to March 19, the Web and Interactive Marketing office will be testing the site, and making any necessary final adjustments.
  • On Tuesday, March 20, a final review will determine if the site is ready to launch.
    • If it is, the site will go live on Wednesday, March 21.
    • If not, a list of mandatory fixes will be populated, and those changes will need to be made very quickly so that ‘go live’ can be shortly after.  Pages that are not ready after this point may be un-published so that the rest of the site may go live.

The web authors and content owners will be working hard to meet these important deadlines.  Until the new site is launched, both the old and new site will have to be maintained.  As a result, we want to launch the new website as soon as we can.  Please click through http://beta.chapman.edu and…

Best,
