The conference was held at the University of Colorado Boulder and brought in top scholars and graduate students from across the nation.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Gianni served on a panel titled \u201cLeveraging Identity and Fighting to Belong\u201d \u00a0and presented a paper called\u00a0\u201cLocked Doors: The Imprisonment of Jewish Refugees in Canada.\u201d Other panelists traveled from Colorado, Illinois, and New Hampshire. His original paper\u00a0was written for Dr. Shira Klein\u2019s graduate course on the social and political relationships between migration and war.
