We\u2019re excited to have all Chapman graduating students together on Wilson Field at Closing Convocation on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 7 pm. Closing Convocation will honor your achievements and celebrate the work you\u2019ve done in your time at Chapman University and Wilkinson College.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Highlights of Closing Convocation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Celebrate with the entire Chapman &amp; Wilkinson College graduating class<\/li>\n<li>Turning of the tassels as President Struppa officially confers degrees<\/li>\n<li>Keynote speaker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We strongly encourage all graduating students to attend the Closing Convocation. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/students\/academic-resources\/graduation\/schedule.aspx\">Commencement Ceremony and Closing Convocation RSVP<\/a> is open now. The last day to RSVP is April 15, 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wilkinson College Commencement Ceremony, Saturday, May 18, 11 am to 12 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take advantage of your discipline\u2019s end-of-year celebrations they may be holding. Use these opportunities to connect, commend each other on the mutual accomplishments throughout the year, and plan for the future.<\/p>\n<p>Continue monitoring your Chapman email for additional updates about commencement. Keep in touch with\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chapman.edu\/alumni\/index.aspx\">Office of Alumni Engagement<\/a> for resources available to Chapman graduates and continue building the alumni network.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FAQs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Q<\/strong>: Who do I contact with questions about commencement?<\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>: Feel free to contact the Special Events team at 714-997-6740, <a href=\"mailto:commencement@chapman.edu\">commencement@chapman.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Q<\/strong>: What time will the ceremony end?<\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>: By the time you fight on-campus traffic and get back to your car after photos, we recommend a late lunch around 2 pm.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Q<\/strong>: How many people can I bring to Closing Convocation? Commencement?<\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>: Students who RSVP for Closing Convocation will be allotted 4 tickets for your guests. Tickets are not required for students. Two extra tickets can be requested, but are not guaranteed. An email notification will be sent on May 10, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Commencement is free and open to all guests and family of students.\u00a0Guest\u00a0tickets are not required for commencement ceremonies and there is no limit on how many guests you may invite. Please note that seating is first come, first served. Seating is in folding chairs on artificial turf.
