\nReligious Studies Professor Rafael Luevano was awarded the 2013 T.A. Abbott Award for Faculty Excellence by the Board of Directors of Higher Education and Leadership Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
\n
\nThis is the most prestigious recognition that their church gives to members of faculties of colleges and universities in covenant with the church (and includes a $1,000 cash award).
\n
\n“I am thrilled that you have been recognized, and rightly so, for your work, and your dedication to your students, your colleagues, and ultimately Chapman University,” said Chapman Chancellor Daniele Struppa.
