ABOUT THE SPEAKER:<\/strong>Maryellen Weimer, facilitator of all three sessions, has edited\u00a0The Teaching Professor<\/em>\u00a0newsletter since 1987 and writes\u00a0The Teaching Professor Blog<\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0She is a professor emerita of teaching and learning and former Director of Faculty Development at Penn State.\u00a0 Dr. Weimer received Penn State\u2019s Milton S. Hershey award for distinguished teaching in 2005. Dr. Weimer has published many books, including\u00a0Learner-Centered Teaching: Five Key Changes to Practice<\/em>\u00a0(Jossey-Bass, 2002) and\u00a0Inspired College Teaching: A Career-Long Resource for Professional Growth<\/em>\u00a0<\/i>(Jossey-Bass, 2010).<\/p>\n
