\"CRASsH<\/a>Grant Program Overview:<\/em><\/strong>
\n
\nSummer Stipends support individuals pursuing advanced research that is of value to humanities scholars, general audiences, or both. Recipients usually produce articles, monographs, books, digital materials, archaeological site reports, translations, editions, or other scholarly resources. Summer Stipends support continuous full-time work on a humanities project for a period of two consecutive months and projects at any stage of development. Summer Stipends are awarded to individual scholars. For more program information\/guidelines visit the

Selection Process:<\/strong><\/em>
\n <\/strong>
\n
\nFaculty members teaching full-time at universities must be nominated by their institutions to apply for a NEH Summer Stipend. Each university may nominate two faculty members.
\nTherefore, WCHSS will hold an internal competition in order to select candidates to move forward with the nomination process. <\/strong>
\n
\n <\/p>\n

Instructions:<\/strong><\/em>
\n
\nFor consideration, please submit a
\ncomprehensive draft <\/strong>
\nof your narrative, not to exceed three single-spaced pages. Your narrative should provide an intellectual justification for the project, and convey the ideas, objectives, methods, and work plan. Please see
\napplication guidelines<\/a>
\n for narrative specifics and formatting details.
\n
\nApplicants must also include an updated, curriculum vita not to exceed two single-spaced pages. Please see NEH program guidelines for specifics.
\n
\nIn addition, resubmissions must include a revised narrative along with reviewer comments. Applicants who do not follow guidelines or who submit incomplete applications will not be considered.
