Applications must be sent via email to <a href=\"mailto:tukachin@chapman.edu\">Dr. Riva Tukachinsky<\/a>. Applicants <strong>MUST<\/strong> include the name of the award (Womack or Doetkott) <strong>in the email subject line<\/strong> in order to be considered.<\/p>\n<p>See the completed application form below. It includes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Resume (up to 300 words)<\/li>\n<li>Essay why you are a good candidate for the award (100-150 words)<\/li>\n<li>Names, affiliations, emails, and phone numbers for two (2) references. <strong>No <\/strong>need for letters of recommendation. At least one reference should be a COM\/SCC faculty.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www1.chapman.edu\/~tukachin\/Application2016c.dotx\">Department of Communication Studies Award Application<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bill Womack Most Inspirational Senior<br \/>\n<\/strong>Presented each year to the student who best exemplifies the supportive and caring spirit of Prof. Bill Womack. The award goes to a student who provides inspiration to other Communication students.<\/p>\n<p>Examples can include students who overcame significant obstacles in obtaining their education; high performing students with varied life experiences and unusual background; students who serve underprivileged populations through mentorship and volunteer work or use their education to promote significant societal causes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patricia &amp; Richard Doetkott Award<br \/>\n<\/strong>Patricia &amp; Richard Doetkott were special people in the history of the Communication Studies Department.<\/p>\n<p>This award goes to a student whose passion for communication and learning extends beyond the classroom.
