In his previous book,<br \/>\n<em>The Limits of Power<\/em><br \/>\n, he deconstructed decades of disastrous foreign policies. His other books include,<br \/>\n<em>The New American Militarism: How Americans Are Seduced by War<\/em><br \/>\nand<br \/>\n<em>American Empire: The Realities and Consequences of U. S. Diplomacy<\/em><br \/>\n.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Bacevich holds a Ph.D in American diplomatic history from Princeton University.
