\"woloch\"<\/a>Tabula Poetica\u2019s <\/a>Annual Poetry Reading Series kicks off on Thursday, September 15, 2016 with poet Cecilia Woloch.<\/a><\/p>\n

Woloch is a poet, writer, teacher, and traveler based in Los Angeles. She has published six collections of poems, most recently\u00a0Earth<\/i>\u00a0from Two Sylvias Press and\u00a0Carpathia<\/i>\u00a0from BOA Editions. Her second collection,\u00a0Tsigan: The Gypsy Poem<\/i>, was published in French translation in 2014 and has been adapted for multimedia performances in the United States and Europe. Her novel,\u00a0Sur la Route<\/i>, was published by Quale Press. Her honors include fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and CEC\/ArtsLink International. She collaborates regularly with artists in other disciplines and conducts workshops for writers around the world.<\/p>\n

Her talk will begin at 1 p.m. in the Wilkinson Chapel, Fish Interfaith Center, followed by a poetry reading at 4 p.m. in the Henley Reading Room, 2nd Floor, Leatherby Libraries.<\/p>\n
