\"brian-doyle\"<\/a>WordTheatre\u2019s<\/a> fall series at Chapman University brings America\u2019s finest short story writers to Orange for celebrity and student performances.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Sept. 19, Hollywood actors Jackson Rathbone<\/a> (Twilight<\/em> Films, Finding Carter<\/em>, The Last Airbender) <\/em>and Vanessa Lengies<\/a> (Glee<\/em>, Hawthorne<\/em>, Lego Stars<\/em>, Stick It)<\/em> — will bring to life acclaimed short stories written by author Brian Doyle.<\/p>\n

Brian Doyle is a Canadian writer whose children’s books have been adapted into both movies and plays. Many of his stories are drawn from his experiences growing up in Ottawa and vicinity.<\/p>\n

In addition to the readings, Supa Lowery Brothers Band <\/em><\/a>will be playing an original jazz score, composed by Johnathan Sacks.<\/p>\n

Performances will take place at 7 p.m. in the Fish Interfaith Center at Chapman University.<\/p>\n
