Sophomore Simon Hall has broken onto the Chapman football scene, helping the Panthers to a 3-1 start to the 2021 season. The linebacker kicked off his career in a Panther uniform with a 19-tackle game against Pacific for a 35-23 victory on Sept. 3. He now ranks 5th for most tackles in a single game in Chapman history, the record set at 23.

Hall continues to pace the Panthers, leading the team with 37 total tackles. His 20 assisted tackles leads the squad while his 17 solo tackles ranks second with senior All-American Dillon Keefe. Simon’s 9.3 tackles per game leads the Panthers and also ranks second in the conference.

For his work on the field, the Corona, Calif. native earned the first Chapman Athlete of the Week honor for the 2021-2022 season. Simon is undoubtedly a crucial part of this Chapman defense heading into conference play this month.
