Every year, the Center for Global Education (CGE) has an annual photo contest where we invite study abroad participants from the previous academic year who participated in semester programs, faculty-led travel courses, and summer international internships to submit photos from their travels.

We’ve all heard the saying a picture is worth a thousand words, but these photos are worth more than that. Each photo is a memory- it has the ability to take you to a far-away place. For the photographer, it might even take them to a moment- that instant when they witnessed something beautiful and captured it on film.

The annual photo contest gives students the opportunity to share a moment from their time abroad.  The categories for our photo contest this year include:

  • Artistic Eye
  • Learning and Interning
  • Chapman Students Abroad
  • Local Culture and Community
  • Landscape and Cityscape

This year’s photo submissions are no different from those of the past- unique, beautiful, and moving.
