Meet Feras Halabi! Feras is a first-year student working towards a B.A. Theatre. His study emphasis is in directing and performance with an interest in classical acting and improv for live entertainment. Feras is a fearless actor within the Department of Theatre, performing in student-directing scenes while independently working with upperclassmen on future projects. He is currently deep into rehearsals for his Chapman debut in 9 to 5 The Musical (Feb. 20-22) in Musco Center for the Arts. In addition to his many commitments, Feras hosts his own talk show on Chapman Radio.

Feras chose to study at Chapman for its prime location in the entertainment industry and the team-driven energy he found in the theatre department. After his first semester, he was astonished by the collective effort of passion the within the CoPA community: “[Here] it is a collaboration; everyone is working together and helping one another… which is very refreshing to experience.” Feras aspires to be a performer on stage for theatre or television, and continue what he loves most as an actor: entertaining people.
