The Chapman University Department of Theatre announced “HOME” as the theme for its 2020–21 production season. “When this theme was chosen, we had no inkling just how much time everyone would be spending at home in 2020,” said Department Chair John Benitz. “We look forward to welcoming “home” students, faculty, staff, and audiences returning to Chapman, and we encourage you to consider: What does home mean to you? How do we create a home? What role does memory and imagination play in the creation and preservation of the idea of home? We will explore these questions with each play, and invite you to join us in an important and ever-evolving conversation about what it means to be home.”
