Craig Shields ’12

Craig Shields (BM in Percussion Performance, BM (Music Education Pre-Certification) ’12) and his Latin alternative/world folk band Cuñao have been invited to perform at the annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration December 2020 at The Music Center. A lecturer in Chapman’s Hall-Musco Conservatory of music, Shields said the band was also featured in last year’s event, broadcast live on PBS. In preparation for the this year, Shields said Cuñao are “currently recording two new songs with video for them in conjunction with our new holiday EP.”

Cuñao released a new full-length album in 2020 called Rayuela, and just last week released their new single “El Barquito Negro” on November 6. To learn more about the band, visit cunaomusic.com.
