Greek Consulate Representatives Attend CoPA Theatre Production

The College of Performing Arts was recently honored with a visit from Consul General Iaonnis Stamatekos of the Greek Consulate in Los Angeles who attended the February 24, 2023, performance of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” in Waltmar Theatre. The production was the third mainstage show of the Department of Theatre’s 2022–23 Season.

Mr. Stamatekos, accompanied by Mr. Andreas Spyrou, head of the consulate public diplomacy office, was invited by Chapman Prof. Sokratis Alafouzos, Presidential Fellow in Greek Theatre and director of the show. “As a director of Greek origin, I was honored to have the presence and feel the support of the Greek Consul in Los Angeles at this performance,” said Alafouzos
