Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music music theory lecturer Asian man with short dark hair, dark-rimmed glasses, wearing a blue plaid shirt and blue jeans.Michael Lee’s composition Fanfare for the Unspoken Heroes of Our Times will premiere on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT) by the Eastman Wind Ensemble led by Mark Scatterday.

Lee composed the musical work last year during the height of the pandemic and says it was written “in dedication to the unmentioned ‘heroes’— the school teachers, nurses, doctors, etc.,” during the pandemic.
