Last week, Chapman’s NSAC Team had great success at the American Advertising Federation’s Orange County ADDY Awards.

The American Advertising Awards, home of the ADDY Award, is one of the industry’s largest creative competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in advertising.

Chapman’s team submitted work from the 2020 NSAC team for last year’s Adobe campaign into 12 different student categories, and walked away with a total of 13 wins!

Here’s the breakdown:

  • 3 Gold ADDY’s
  • 5 Silver ADDY’s
  • 3 Bronze ADDY’s
  • AND #13…. Student BEST OF SHOW!

A Chapman student also won a Gold ADDY for submitting their spot for Dixon Ticonderoga pencils.

This is a great validation for the 2020 team’s work in the incredibly challenging category of Adtech in B2B for Adobe. All gold wins will automatically move on to district judging, and the team can choose to send silver or bronze award winners upstream for a small fee.

“I’m very aware of Chapman University. They come out of this market,” said guest host and MC Ryan Berman, the adman and author of Return on Courage, said in his intro to the student category.

“Those guys are rock stars,” said Berman.
