Salvation Boulevard, Crash
, and

This is one of the most exciting, unique programs offered by Dodge College;  the Scholars selected to be in the program get direct, exclusive access to a constantly rotating cast of acclaimed filmmakers every semester.

Due to the small class sizes and time restrictions on our Filmmakers – who engage with students on the side while maintaining their full industry schedules! – applications are due before the start of the semester, which means if you’re reading this now, now is the time to act!  Even if you’re not on campus yet.
Do not miss this opportunity!
Cathy Schulman

We’re thrilled to welcome Cathy Schulman as this year’s Filmmaker in Residence.  You undoubtedly already know her work!  For a complete list of credits,
please visit Ms. Schulman’s IMDb page
.

If selected to participate as an O.L. Halsell Scholar, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with one of Hollywood’s finest filmmakers.  Scholars should have a work in progress, either a screenplay, a concept in development, or footage suitable for an episodic form to work on during the semester.  Scholars will meet individually with Ms. Schulman for an hour every other Tuesday.
Scholars are also required to enroll in FTV 310/510 (Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m.)
with Professor Susan Cartsonis (you do not have to be enrolled in this course to apply. However, if you are selected, you will have to enroll by September 9). There will be a lunch with Ms. Schulman and all of the Scholars at some point during the semester.

If you wish to be considered for this prestigious opportunity to be mentored by a distinguished director, please complete the application form and submit it by
