Into the Silent Sea(Andrej Landin) won the Fierberg Student Film Award ($1000) from the Rehoboth Beach Film Society. The Bluff (Owen Schwartzbard) received Honorable Mention ($250). The awards will be presented at the Rehoboth Beach Film Festival this week.
The 51st Student Academy Awards were handed out in London, with three Olympic-style medal placements announced in the shorts categories of animations, live-action and documentary. Dodge alum Aaron Johnson ’24, received the Silver Award for his documentary short “The 17 Percent.”
