Sierra Canyon,an independent college prep school in the Valley, holds an annual film festival at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood each Spring. Submissions are open to not only high school films, but college films as well.

This year, three student films from Dodge College were awarded crystal trophies: Light Me Up (directed by Ryan Walton ‘12 & Derek Dolechek ‘12) won the Best Animation Award, The Hard Way (directed by Travis Thompson ‘13) won Best Cinematography, and Pray Me Down (directed by Dan Carr ‘13) won the Best Actor Award for Dan’s own performance in the film.
