On Thursday, February 27th, GCI and the Fowler School of Engineering welcomed guest speaker Jennifer Gill Roberts, Co-Founder of Grit Ventures, for our GCI Speaker Series. Roberts talked about entrepreneurship within the technology sector, how to successfully launch a new idea, as well as career advice. Her talk was focused technical fields including industrial automation, sustainability, and space. Roberts also highlighted her efforts to mentor and invest in women and minority founders, aiming to address underrepresentation in the entrepreneurship field.
