Jeffrey Kuhns, a 2012 Chapman candidate for an LLM in Taxation, has received the top prize in a writing competition. Mr. Kuhns’ piece on “The Application of the Death on the High Seas Act (DOHSA) to Commercial Space Flight Accidents” was the winning article in the Admiralty & Maritime Law Committee’s annual law student writing competition. The AMLC is a committee within the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section.
