Congratulations to Ms. Christina Nguyen who received the CSHP Student Leadership in Health-System Practice Award!

CSHP presents this award to students with an interest in health-system pharmacy practice who have demonstrated leadership ability. It also recognizes and celebrates the contributions of a student who represents the very best attributes and accomplishments of CSHP student members in health-system practice.

As the current President of CUSP’s CSHP-SSHP, Christina has led her board in successfully hosting multiple residency preparation, professional development and networking workshops, and community outreach events. Christina also holds leadership positions at the state and regional levels of CSHP. As the Co-Chair for the CSHP Student Section Executive Council (SSEC), Christina and the other SSEC student leaders put together a Strategic Map Action Plan for and are currently working on planning for SSEC activities at CSHP Seminar. Additionally, Christina’s leadership positions have positioned her well to be able to exercise her passion for serving underserved communities including recently presenting (remotely) to local schools to spread awareness about the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
