Dr. Cintia Citterio has been honored with the Endocrine Society Early Investigator Award, awarding her outstanding contributions to hormone-related research. Selected as one of five awardees nationwide, this recognition places her among the top emerging researchers for her role in addressing and advancing our understanding of hormone-related conditions.
The Early Investigator Award supports the development of early-career investigators and recognizes Dr. Citterio’s work in advancing our understanding of complex endocrine conditions. Endocrinologists play a pivotal role in unraveling complex health problems, including diabetes, obesity, infertility, bone health, and hormone-related cancers. Dr. Citterio’s dedication to advancing the field has contributed to the scientific community’s understanding of these conditions and also holds promise for future advancements in treatment and patient care, with the award providing essential support for her ongoing research.
