Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) has awarded Dr. Gary Fong and his collaborator, Dr. Pamala Lee at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, an Educational Grant totaling $2,500.
The project, titled “Developing a Climate and Sustainability Education Model for ID Pharmacists”, will create interactive and educational modules and a practical calculator to help clinicians further understand the environmental impacts of different antimicrobial choices. The project will provide these free-access tools for all health care professionals interested in understanding and reducing the impacts of health care on the environment.
