Rather than being known for its established pharmacy schools, Orange County has instead captured the hearts of people with its tourist destinations and celebrity sightings. Although this may be what was known in the past, the booming bio-tech industry and growth towards health care professions has  changed the game for sunny Southern California. Orange County is now more than just sandy beaches and Disneyland Parks. For those thinking of attending a Pharmacy school in 2015, this may be your year.

gain an incredible head start their career goals. Already on-track for a conditional guarantee of admission to the PharmD program, these cohorts receive exemption from the PCAT, gain mentoring by renowned staff, and have special exposure to several types of pharmacy environments as an undergraduate student.

“We’ve established an extraordinary high performing team and they continue to drive our program toward excellence; and we look forward to providing the Southland and beyond highly capable pharmacists into the emerging team-based approach in health care and in the pharmaceutical industry,” says Dean Jordan of CUSP.

, the Associate Dean of Student and Academic Affairs. With them are exceptional faculty and staff ready to equip and guide students to successful vocations in pharmacy.

Birthing from the changes and needs of healthcare in society today, CUSP is dedicated to educating and developing future Pharmacists ready meet the world’s needs at a great capacity.

“Our health care system and biomedical industry need new practitioners as rapidly as possible. The demographic, disease, technology and scientific advances driving the demand for health care services have led to unprecedented rates of change in health delivery,” said Dean Jordan. We will prepare graduates to embrace these changes and improve lives and communities. We are working on developing valuable and unique learner-oriented partnerships with local health organizations, practitioners and industries who are all seeking to fill their growing personnel needs.”
