Awards and Recognitions 

Dr. Albert Bach has been appointed to the CalRx Insulin Patient Advisory Council, which serves as a crucial link between the CalRx Program and the diabetes patient community. It provides input and guidance to advance awareness, education, and advocacy for CalRx’s low-cost, biosimilar insulin products. The only health providers on the council are three pharmacists and one physician, along with other patient advocates.

Grants

Dr. Cintia Citterio has been awarded a five-year R01 grant ($1,731,250.00) as the sole Principal Investigator by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK-NIH). This grant will support research aimed at advancing the treatment of hypothyroidism and identifying pathways that promote weight loss.
