Walgreens has awarded two annual scholarships to Chapman University Doctor of Pharmacy students, each worth $2,500, showing their ongoing commitment to support the next generation of pharmacy professionals.

  1. The Walgreens Multilingual Scholarship is awarded to a student who is fluent in one or more languages in addition to English and is actively involved in promoting and embracing collaboration across different cultural groups. Multilingual pharmacists play an increasingly vital role in bridging communication gaps and ensuring patients from all backgrounds receive the counsel and care they need.
  2. The Walgreens Pharmacy Champion Award is awarded to a student who demonstrates leadership, academic success, and a commitment to championing pharmacy, healthcare, and high-quality patient care in community settings.

CUSP’s relationship with Walgreens extends beyond these scholarships. Walgreens sponsors campus events, provides networking opportunities, and is one of the top employers of CUSP graduates.
