General H. R. McMaster visits to commemorate partnership between Chapman University and Richard Nixon Foundation Unique partnership establishes fellowships for mid-career Foreign Service officers
Orange County, CA: General H. R. McMaster, former National Security Advisor to President Donald J. Trump, will speak on Thursday, September 27, at 7 p.m., at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, and on Friday, September 28, at noon at Chapman University in the Argyros Forum Room 209 to commemorate a the signing of a partnership agreement between the two institutions. This partnership is the first formal agreement of its kind between the Nixon Foundation and a university.
The primary feature of this partnership is a fellowship for Foreign Service Officers from the U.S. State Department’s Foreign Service Diplomatic Initiative to spend 18 months at Chapman University in Orange to obtain a master’s degree in War and Society while conducting archival research at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda.
Baribault and Struppa will sign a formal agreement at Chapman University on September 28 at 12 p.m.
