Try It Week!
September 29, 2015
Are you interested in learning more about how to green your commute? Do you want to start biking to work a few days a week but you’re nervous because you don’t know the road rules, where to shower on campus, or if you can park your bike close to your office or classroom? Have you heard the university offers incentives for taking public transportation and not driving to campus?
Now is your chance to ask all these questions and try commuting to campus a different way! From October 5th to October 9th, Human Resources, Public Safety, Parking and Transportation Services and the Sustainability Office from Facilities Management will be on campus by Schmid Gate from 7:30am – 9:00am to answer all your commuting questions. Stop by the tent and register your bike, find the EV charging stations, learn about Zip Car or how to get reimbursed for taking the bus or train to campus. When you stop by, register for the raffle and win a bike lock, a helmet, or a gift card and grab a cup of coffee!
We look forward to seeing you!
