Gerald A. Wolf

Jerry Wolf

Town & Gown is pleased to focus on our newest member of the board, Gerald A. (Jerry) Wolf, who first became aware of Town & Gown in 2003 after his now-deceased wife Gemma and he became members and co-chairs of the Chapman Parents Council, a position they jointly held for many years. From 2005 through 2017 Jerry owned two rental houses located less than a mile from the Chapman campus, which were rented to Chapman students. After his wife Gemma passed away in 2018, Jerry moved into one of the rental houses in 2019.  Since 2003 he has been a regular attendee at many of the Town & Gown activities and other events at Chapman.

Jerry has been an attorney for 50-plus years and continues to practice law in Tustin. His areas of practice are estate planning – trusts and wills, probate and trust administration, real estate, and small business practice.  He has two daughters who graduated from Chapman in 2007 and 2011.

Jerry moved to Orange County in 1973 and has been widely active in the Greater Orange County community over the years. He’s served as a member of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, including 18 months as its President, as the Chairperson of the Santa Ana Economic Development Corporation, and has been a part-time Business Law Instructor at Coastline Community College, a board member of the Foothills Community Association of North Tustin, and a member of the Church of the Foothills and its President for three years.

When not working, Jerry likes spending time with his two granddaughters (ages 3 and 5), his partner Maria’s grandchildren (ages 2 and 3), riding his bike (not a motorcycle!), golfing, skiing, going to the gym, cooking, eating, enjoying good wine and beer, traveling, watching sports, attending plays, listening to good music and just enjoying life in general.

Jerry says:  “I am excited to be on the Town & Gown Board since I am of the opinion Chapman University is a very important institution in the City of Orange, and it is important for the broader community to be aware of all of the benefits Chapman University, its professors, staff, and students bring to the community.”
