Chapman Community Relations Invites Students to “Get the Scoop” on Being a Good Neighbor

The Office of Community Relations is welcoming students back with something sweet. The first-ever #GetTheScoop #ChapmanChill ice cream social was held on August 19 and 20, where students enjoyed free ice cream treats while learning valuable tips for being a good neighbor in Old Towne Orange. Each attendee received The Panther’s Guide to Living Off Campus, a helpful resource covering local amenities, quiet hours, parking guidelines, and ways to keep our community safe, respectful, and connected.

Much like the nostalgic charm of childhood ice cream truck visits, this event adds a Chapman touch by blending fun with community-minded responsibility. It is an opportunity for students to meet neighbors, connect with friends, and start the school year with a positive commitment to the place we all call home. Together, we can ensure that the year ahead is filled with sweet connections and shared community pride.
