Meet Tim and Carole Mead Member Spotlight
September 11, 2023
Our Fall Member Spotlight features Carole and Tim Mead, members of Town and Gown since 2022. Married for forty-two years, Carole and Tim have been residents of Diamond Bar for forty of those years. Carole enjoyed a career as a fourth- and fifth-grade teacher in the Walnut School District for twenty-eight years. Tim served as Vice-President of the Angels for forty years, and after leaving the Angels, was President of the Baseball Hall of Fame for two years.
Carole and Tim were introduced to Chapman when their son Brandon attended Chapman Law School some years ago and had a wonderful experience there. Brandon is now practicing law, remains very grateful for the outstanding education he received at Chapman, and is married to Ashley, a practicing physician. They are parents to Carole’s and Tim’s two “amazing” grandchildren – Logan, age 4 and Lana, age 2.
Says Carole: “I became involved in Town and Gown when my dear friend Patti Finn invited me to Lunch at the Forum. I really enjoyed the luncheons, and was interested in becoming more involved. I was looking for a program to help other students enjoy the great opportunity of attending this amazing school. This is such a warm, welcoming group of people. I am appreciative of their kindness and encouragement in making it very easy to become part of Town and Gown.”
Town and Gown warmly welcomes the Meads and their support of Chapman University. We look forward to opportunities to share common goals and interests in the years ahead. Thank you, Carole and Tim, for being a special part of our “Panther Pride” network!
