Panther Spirit Spotlight
May 4, 2015
As members of the Chapman Family, we frequently show our Panther pride outside of our campus community. If you have Panther spirit stories you’d like to share, please
email Melissa
. We’d love to help spread that contageous Panther pride through your story! This month, we’re proud to feature
Kristi Deschenes,
department assistant
, and a special guest and future Panther — her daughter, Lauren!

“My daughter, Lauren, is in kindergarten at St. John’s in Orange and their spring project was to learn about their community, specifically Old Towne Orange. Each child was assigned a building in Old Towne Orange, and then the teacher set up all the buildings to create their own little city. My daughter picked Chapman University as her building (I *
may
* have encouraged her to pick it!). She paper-mached Memorial Hall and it was quite the hit among the kids in her class.” —Kristi Deschenes, department assistant, Office of Executive Vice President
