What interested you about working at Chapman?
I came to Chapman after working for eight years in newspaper, the last two as a University news reporter at the Orange County Register. Getting to meet and work with the faculty and staff here during that job was what drew me to wanting to work here myself.
What’s something people might be surprised/interested to learn about you?
I brewed the beer served at my wedding, ten gallons in all, five gallons each of two kinds: a “Tall, Dark and Handsome” vanilla-maple brown beer, and a “Feisty Redhead” blood orange hefeweizen.

Hometown:
La Habra, Calif.
Current city:

What interested you about working at Chapman?
After leading the global corporate communications function at four publicly traded companies, I was looking to transition my career from the corporate arena to working for a nonprofit. I wanted to work for a world-class organization, with a great reputation, one that makes a real difference and has a significant impact on the lives of the people it serves. For me, that organization was Chapman University.
What’s something people might be surprised/interested to learn about you?
I love to run. I’ve completed two half marathons as a member of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training.

What interested you about working at Chapman?
I really enjoyed my time working here as a student assistant, so this was an obvious next step!
What’s something people might be surprised/interested to learn about you?
I have a form of synesthesia, which means that I see every number as a different color, so I love working with numbers.
