“Serving God’s Kids is a Catholic organization with a mission to love and serve children in need, primarily orphans. I worked on a donation-based foster home run by sisters and personally fundraised to attend. We were able to surprise the kids and sisters by taking them to Xcaret, Cancun’s luxury waterpark, zoo and theme park. My favorite memory of the trip was watching the nuns float with life jackets in the lazy river, all while having a terrified 12-year-old glued to my back for about two miles of swimming!”
