• Monica Edwards (’01) recently became the Vice President, Senior Estate Specialist at Wells Fargo Bank in Los Angeles.

• Assistant Dean of Career Services Suzanna Adelizi (’05) was named OCWLA Everyday Hero.

Navid Moshtael (J.D. ’05, LL.M. ’08) published an article in the Los Angeles Daily Journal entitled, “Want to pay your ex’s attorney fees? Ignore discovery requests.”

Tom Pokladowski (’06) of UC Irvine Extension was recently appointed to National Association of Legal Assistants Certifying Board For Paralegals. Tom will serve two-years on the board and help maintain the integrity of the credentialing program. He along with other board members will be responsible for all aspects of the certification program including statistical analyses, policy making, disciplinary procedures, and examination content.

• Bobbie K. Ross (’09) closed her law practice (Law Office of Bobbie K. Ross in Manhattan Beach) and relocated to Sacramento where she will now be working as a Litigation Attorney for Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.

Natasha Buchanan (’09) was quoted in USA Today. Natasha specializes in FDIC waivers at Higbee & Associates in Santa Ana.

Atticus Wegman (’10)

• Atticus Wegman’s (’10) scholarly work was recently selected for publication by the University of San Francisco Law Review. Atticus concluded his research in an area of law that has recently garnered much national attention–cyberbullying. In addition to representing those injured due to the fault of others, Atticus took interest and began delving into the issue of the criminalization of cyberbullying on the state and national levels. It also addresses the invasion of technology in our lives and its effect on the bullying.” Atticus’s article titled “Cyberbullying and California’s Response” can be found in the Spring 2013 issue of the University of San Francisco Law Review 47 U.S.F. L.Rev. 737 (2013).

• Ryan Hurley (’10) recently featured in an article on sustainability. Ryan is a specialist in wind and solar technologies for the State of Hawai‘i Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.

• Jewels Jin (’11) mentioned in Daily Journal article regarding her participation in in Legal Aid’s Lawyer Entrepreneur Assistance Program (LEAP), which is a solo incubator program.
