Get swept away by the unique beauty of Madrid in this one of a kind Travel Course. Explore Madrid’s rich cultural history by basking in the breathtaking architecture, spending time in the galleries filled with masterpieces of great artists, and experience the unique food culture that abounds. Students will have the opportunity to live like a local in homestays and explore what their neighborhood has to offer. Spain is a magically diverse country, which students will have the opportunity to travel and explore during the duration of the course. The course in Madrid will include an exciting mix of classwork, field trips, cultural experiences, and memorable course projects. Doctoral students may also participate in this course with permission from Dr. Colon-Muniz, and the director of the CES doctoral program, Dr. D. Hunter.

EDUC 501/635: 2nd Language Acquisition/Teacher Education Workshop Travel Course has a total cost range of $3,423-$3,765 and will not exceed $3,765. This program is Land only and does not include airfare to Spain. The program does include lodging, most meals and excursions. Tuition fees are NOT included in the price of this program. All Travel Courses outside the United States are approved for the Global Study portion of the 2007 GE Program.

To apply to this Summer 2016 program, print the Enrollment and Financial Obligation Form and obtain the faculty member’s signature of approval. This completed form and a non-refundable deposit of $500, paid to the Cashier’s Office or through Student’s Access ePay system, are due before 4pm, Monday, March 28, 2016. Please bring your signed Enrollment Form and confirmation of initial deposit to Center for Global Education.

Once we have received both items, you will be given access to our online portal, the Global Gateway, to complete additional documents required for this SU2016 Travel Course to Spain.
