Rebecca Hall ’96 Thinks Chapman First
September 25, 2014
Rebecca Hall ’96
takes her enthusiasm for Chapman University beyond her membership in
Chapman50
and service on the Board of Governors to her award-winning full-service branding, marketing and public relations agency,
Idea Hall
. The Costa Mesa-based agency is growing with some very exciting work and a team full of Chapman University alumni, including the agency’s most recent addition of Chapman50 member
Jeff Cole ’01
as senior creative producer of digital media. In addition to Hall and Cole, the agency’s Panthers include
Kristen Adams ’08
,
Megan Barry ’11
,
Nicole Inal ’11
,
Sarah Van Zanten ’11
and
Meghan Langsdorf ’13
. In addition, Idea Hall’s general manager, Daniel Rhodes, is an adjunct professor in Chapman University’s public relations and advertising department.
“We have been in the practice of recruiting Chapman students for over 10 years. We find that the Chapman students we hire are well rounded in their skills, work ethic, desire to learn and collaborate, creativity and social graces. These all go a long way in a professional services business,” said Hall. “I would recommend that other companies look to Chapman’s wealth of talented students and graduates. They seem to enter the job market faster, more skilled and more talented every year! They keep us on our toes!”
Backed by a team of talented professionals taking pride in their work, Idea Hall earned a number two ranking on
Orange County Business Journal
’s 2014 list of public relations firms, and the agency’s momentum continues to build. Earlier this year, Idea Hall was named agency of record for Roll Real Estate Development, Great Park Neighborhoods’ Pumpkin Glow and Kaiser Permanente Orange County, a client that found Idea Hall through the Chapman University connection of
John Stratman ‘97
, Kaiser Permanente Orange County’s senior director of public affairs and brand communications. The agency continues to serve many leading commercial real estate and finance brands, such as Irvine Company Office Properties, Sabal Financial Group and Bixby Land Company.
Rebecca Hall is also influential in bringing Chapman University important opportunities to help the community, such as Alzheimer’s Association’s GO Purple OC week. During the week of September 15-21, Chapman University was proud to partner with Idea Hall to increase awareness of Alzheimer’s disease by lighting the campus in purple for the duration of GO Purple OC week.
