2014 marks another successful year for Chappy Hour! The Alumni Engagement Office would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has made and continues to make these events successful.

To our Chappy Hour organizers and co-organizers: Thank you for sharing your Chapman Pride and taking the lead to plan a Chappy Hour in your area. Not only did you pick fun, trendy locations and invite local alumni, you also strengthened the alumni connection for those in your area. You were responsible for the stories told, memories shared and yes, drinks consumed. Thank you for your dedication to creating an event where alumni had the opportunity to come together in a low-pressure setting to mix and mingle. Chapman Pride extends beyond the edges of campus; it can be found all over the country, especially in Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas, Pomona, Portland, Orange County and San Jose.

A special shout out to Aaron Thomas ’05 in Denver who wanted to celebrate with us during the Chapman Family Homecoming Weekend. Aaron organized Chappy Hour: Homecoming Edition to stream the football game and share the experience with Chapman alumni in the area. Most of the Panther football games can be streamed. If you are interested in organizing an event similar to this, contact Jessica Schulte ’11, alumni engagement manager, at pricej@chapman.edu.

“I wanted to bring alumni together for an event that would help us feel connected to all the alumni, students, and families back in Orange.  We’re slowly but surely building a fantastic alumni network here in Colorado and having a Chappy Hour that coincided with homecoming was a natural fit.” – Aaron Thomas ’05, Denver Chappy Hour Organizer

To our alumni attendees: We want to extend our gratitude to and appreciation for the 115 alumni who joined us for Chappy Hour at least once this year! You came together to rekindle old connections, meet new friends and share your experiences while having a great time. The alumni bond is strengthened when you participate in these events. We hope that you join us in 2015! Please invite your friends, near and far, and encourage them to attend a Chappy Hour in their area.
