A well-made short film can be just as emotive and engaging as a feature film, and yet short films are not just glimpses into a story, or one trick ponies meant to dazzle the audience and be forgotten just as easily. They can be molded into a larger film narrative. Join us in the DMAC Screening Room for a master class on distribution from the Business Development Director of Film Freeway and CEO of First Pond Entertainment, Oliver Ike. Oliver will take on the question every filmmaker wants to have answered: “I just finished my film – how can I use it to further my career?” Oliver will tackle film festivals, 21st century distribution, and turning that festival darling short into a feature; learn how to give your short film and your career legs.
