Networking: An Investment in Your Career, Feat. Brandon Barrett ’09 (MBA ’17) LEARN MORE ALUMNI RSVP
7:00 – 8:15 p.m. at Chapman University, Beckman Hall Room 404
More than 80% of jobs today are being filled via networking. Not blind online job applications. Not by simply getting a degree and saying ‘come find me.’ It’s networking. So, let’s define it. What is networking? Around here, we like to say it’s a fancy word for relationships. We all have relationships – family, friends, coworkers, acquaintances. So, why don’t we leverage those relationships to help us in our careers? Yes, why don’t we, indeed. During this Certified Career Speaker event, alumni and active recruiter Brandon Barrett ’09 (MBA’17) will share how he has strategically used existing and developed new networks to benefit his short and long-term career goals…. and of course, how we can do so as well.
