Meet Herb Callahan, senior director of Human Resources at Golden State Foods, a nearly $7 billion company based in Irvine, California. Herb’s got the secret recipe to evaluating offers and negotiating salary, and he’s ready to share it with us. Join us as we identify what we should be considering when offered a position, how to compare and assess multiple offers, and ultimately evaluate your holistic compensation and fit within a company prior to accepting.

What is networking? Around here, we like to say it’s a fancy word for relationships. We all have relationships – family, friends, coworkers, acquaintances. So, why don’t we leverage those relationships to help us in our careers? Yes, why don’t we, indeed. During this Certified Career Speaker event, alumni and active recruiter Brandon Barrett ’09 (MBA’17) will share how he has strategically used existing and developed new networks to benefit his short and long-term career goals…. and of course, how we can do so as well.
