Congratulations to Argelia Diaz, who had three offers from the Big Four firms (PWC, Ernst & Young and Deloitte) and ultimately accepted an Internship with Ernst & Young (EY)!

After meeting with Dr. Gabriela Castaneda to learn more about Big Four recruiting on campus, she learned about the many resources available to her through Argyros Career Services. These resources included joining the Accounting Society and participating in the office hours for PwC, EY, Deloitte, and White Nelson, organized and hosted in the Argyros Career Services office by Dr. Gabriela Castaneda.

Through these many meetings and Accounting Society opportunities, Argelia’s career hopes were more than that. They were possibilities within her reach.

Argelia has more than one title. She is a student. She is a Junior. And she is a mom to a one-year-old son, who recently transferred from Mount San Antonio College to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. From day one, Argelia has been an active and engaged student.

She works part-time at the Argyros School front desk and utilizes the resources available to her from the Argyros Career Services and the Accounting Society. Argelia describes her Chapman experience as, “positive, full of opportunities and resources.”

Thanks to her hard work and her participation in the on-campus recruiting events, she secured her internship with EY, her number one choice.

She has a bright future in Public Accounting ahead of her!
