Jimmy Serpa is a first-year Accounting student who was recently accepted in the prestigious Ernst & Young Global Perspective Conference. This is an interactive program that connects participants with other top college students and professionals from diverse experiences and backgrounds. Jimmy will have the opportunity to build leadership and teamwork skills while developing a global mindset and building relationships with professionals from all levels of EY.

In order to secure this opportunity, Jimmy worked very closely with the Accounting Society and Argyros Career Services. He states, “They were very knowledgeable in guiding me through the process from working on putting together my resume to interview preparation.”

Jimmy’s advice to his peers is that “It’s never to early to start working with career services and getting involved in the business world.”
