Congratulations to Jake Aguas, Chapman University Lecturer, on the publication of his textbook Megatrends: The Transformative Forces Reshaping the United StatesThe book, from Kendall Hunt Publishing, has already been adopted by a number of universities for use in their management and/or human resource management courses.

The overview of the textbook is the following

Megatrends book coverThe world continues to change, and the global environment continues to react to a group of large-scale forces that are reshaping the values, ideals, attitudes, and psychosocial constructs of its population. These megatrends are transforming the way people live their lives here in the United States—they affect the workplace, science and art, politics and law, technology and innovation, education, entertainment, and agriculture. From job seekers to managers, farmers to retailers, followers to leaders, preschoolers to distinguished professors, no one is immune to the prompting of the megatrends. Megatrends: The Transformative Forces Reshaping the United States examines the most influential forces shaping the United States and discusses the implications on its residents.

Not one to stay idle, Aguas has another book coming in Summer 2021, also from Kendall Hunt Publishing titled Generation Z and the COVID 19 Crisis.

Aguas teaches courses in the Argyros School in management, economics and entrepreneurship at the undergraduate and MBA level.
