The Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics at the Argyros School of Business and Economics is hosting an even open to the entire Chapman community. Tim Draper, Founder of Draper Fisher Jurvetson and legendary Silicon Valley venture capitalist, is coming to Chapman University on 
Thursday, February 25th 2016. 
He will be guest speaking from 
12pm -1:30pm
 
about his new innovative curriculum at Draper University, the leading program in Silicon Valley for building founders, ideally suited for entrepreneurs ages 18-28.

Draper University and the Leatherby Center are in the process of developing a collaborative relationship to enhance and accelerate the education of aspiring entrepreneurs. The collaboration involves Chapman students and alumni attending Draper University as a post-graduate program and/or a more advanced, more intense post-Chapman program.

Tim Draper has a rich background that started by founding Draper Associates in 1985. On behalf of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Tim’s previous successes include:  Skype (EBAY),

 (YHOO), Baidu (BIDU),Parametric Technology (PMTC), Hotmail (MSFT), PLX Technologies (PLXT) and others. Tim is thrilled to be leading the charge to disrupt entrepreneurship education, his vision and belief are that in order 
“to change the world we have to change education.”


The event is Thursday, February 25, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Launch Labs – rooms 100 and 101 in the West Palm complex.
