The Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics recently hosted a group of high school students from Brazil for an afternoon lecture and tour. The Teen Entrepreneur Academy (TEA) is a summer camp for high school students interested in learning about entrepreneurship hosted by Concordia University. Stephen Christensen, Dean of Concordia’s School of Business and founder of TEA, led the group of 15 students on a field trip to the Leatherby Center.

Chapman University professor Jake Aguas greeted the TEA campers and gave them a brief overview covering his background, the entrepreneurship process and the various activities that keep the Leatherby Center a busy space. The students toured the Center where they saw various classrooms, meeting rooms and office space available for Leatherby Center start-up teams. The afternoon tour exposed the students to an alternate entrepreneurship center and philosophy.
