The Chapman EMBA Class of 2020 recently returned from their international travel course to India as part of the Executive MBA curriculum. Each EMBA cohort takes part in three required residential travel courses, including one international trip coinciding with the Management in a Global Environment course. The nine-day trip took the EMBA students throughout India, including Bangalore and Delhi, with a mixture of corporate visits, guided cultural tours and a little bit of time to explore freely.

Highlights of the trip include corporate visits to global institutions like Accenture, Cushman & Wakefield and Beckman Coulter, where students participated in management presentations, case studies, discussions and tours with upper management. Some of the cultural experiences available to the class were tours of Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, the Vidhana Soudha, the Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World) and an old Delhi food tour.
